Personal Experience
“I have travelled Botswana extensively. If you stay in the bush you will be fine.” – Editor
Try get yourself all the way to the north of Botswana. Where it’s proper wild. There is a campsite at Tsodilo Hills – the “Mountains of the Gods’. That is a pleasure to stay at. Considering the location and the harsh conditions that prevail! It’s a veritable desert with all the hazards that come with it. Like sand storms!
When you take the hike up into the Mountains of the Gods, you will stumble across rock art. From two different civilisations. First the San. Then the Bantu.
Amongst the San paintings, you will find the image of a whale. You can read all about why right HERE.
