Final surf report for May 2024!

The final surf report for May 2024! It’s been a helluva month for waves down at JBay. It has not been perfect by any means. Far too early in the season for that. But glassy walls and the odd hollow day have made for some spectacular surfing sessions as captured by Brucifire.

There are signs prevailing that a huge cold front is amassing itself off Cape Town and is rearing to tear up the coastline.

These south swells, accompanied by stiff South West winds, are in combination, what brings JBay, well Supers, to life. This is the first front of any magnitude to be reckoned with, this winter. Dust off them cobwebs and start doing push-ups already!
